You're too kind

Said Seleena after being lectured and told off for dwelling on her past too much, and the fact she has lost her Dragon Eye.

Bruce had came into Fireball's room, that was filled with strange things, things that he had never seen before nor thought to be around anymore, but he wasn't there for sight seeing or to look at Fireball's collection, he was there because Seleena was standing beside a strange looking mirror, looking at herself and looking at hole looking scar, one where her Dragon Eye was once, before it was ripped out by Corrobis.

Seleena and the group was allowed to use Fireball's room as it was the only room large enough and more privet enough to sit in, get dressed in and even look at oneself in the large mirror.

Bruce decided to have a word with Seleena about her attitude, she wasn't bad or say anything to offend anyone, it was her dwelling and the never ending regret she kept hold onto, Nina was worried about her and spoke to Bruce about her concerns, so that was when Bruce decided to talk with her.

He spoke calmly at first, asking about Seleena's problem, why she was holding onto her guilt and dwelling on what has already happened instead of moving on.

Seleena told him about her past, how she was a slave to the Slave Masters that conquered her world, she told him about how she got the scars and how she felt she had lost everything, even her honor, and worst her pride due to her Dragon Eye being ripped out, by force, by the jackal they were facing.

As she spoke on and dwelled Bruce asked if she could move on, but Seleena kept saying that she could never forget nor forgive what had happened to her, there for moving on was not an option for her.

In the end Bruce told her to stop being so damn selfish and wake up, he agreed with her she had suffered and he stated that he felt sorry for anyone who had suffered, but at lest most were able to move on and he even said to her that he felt it was time she did the same.

He even used Nina as an example and told how she had been through it all, he even stated how strong she held her head up, sure she had effects from her past sufferings, everyone does, but at lest she was moving on.

He then said as he finished his statement "it is about time you did the same, for your daughter, after all isn't she your pride?"

That was when Seleena was trying not to smile, as Bruce was right, she had been selfish and caught in her own past for too long, so she said with a kind motherly tone "you are too kind... thank you...".

A little short story here, I was thinking about this for awhile and wondered who would best to break Seleena out of her own emotions, I did thought Nina at first but then I thought "why not Bruce? His a guy and maybe his tough attitude would be best to help her understand", and so I came up with this.

I am trying out some new things in this piece, now it is not perfect and there are alot of errors, but I do like it, something about it just gives me a sense of achivement, but I also like the dark black style to this too, if that makes any sense at all XD.
