After all these years

"After all these years I had been lead to believe you were dead and yet suddenly you show up, where were you?!" Said an angry black dragoness.

"I believe you are mistaken... the one who died was the one your mother went off with when she left me" said the Leviathan.

"Oh but yet you call me here, telling me you are my father and without any proof!" snapped the dragoness.

"Child I am your father, the truth is there, you know it to be true, you are just angry and hurt inside".

"Really? Really?! Well no **** I am hurt! You knew of my mother's predicament, but you never came to save her when the Slave Masters came and tortured her! Killing the man she loved!".

"Sapphire my daughter you have gone too far" said the almost hurt Leviathan, as he looked at her, understanding her pain "if only you could open your eyes".

Sapphire looked at him sharply and said as she growled at him "my eyes are open, but I want answers, all I hear is you beating round the bush!"

"Very well I'll give you the answers if I can".

Sapphire thought for a bit and then asked "how do I know you are my father?"

"You know because you feel it, it is in your instinct, plus that form you transformed into when you face the Guardian, he thinks it is an Apex form, that is your Leviathan form".

Thinking about it and what she did change into when she fought the Guardian she knew what he said made sense, plus she could feel he was her father but wanted to deny it, however she asked another question "alright then where were you?"

"I was here the whole time when you mother was enslaved, I knew what was going on and was devastated by it".

"And yet you didn't do anything?!"

"I would if I could of, I wished that I could of saved her and saved you aswell, but sadly I couldn't go to were she was, the Slave Masters made sure of that".

Sapphire had no more questions to ask, all she could think about was raging on her father, screaming, yelling, saying hurtful things as she felt he could of done so much more, but however she knew deep down inside he couldn't of done anymore then he could, there for he was faultless in it all.

Moving closer to her Leviathan said to her "I sense your anger, I know your feeling, I can not change those, but I can say there was not a piece of me that didn't want to go and save you both".

"Mother saved me, but risked herself to do so" said Sapphire as she tried to hold back on her anger, but as she did so Leviathan got close till his head was near her's.

At this point she wanted to push him away, but couldn't and didn't really wish to, if anything she needed him in her life, she needed her father, no matter how she felt, she still loved him and cared for him, and he knew this.

"It is ok my child, I am here for you now".
