A Slaves Freedom 2: Worlds Collide Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Unexpected

In the bedroom of Whisper's home, keeping himself in the dark, trying to regain his energy and allow his wounds to heal, Corrobis sat near the comfort of the fire, using the heat to warm himself up, hoping the fire may help with his wounds, but looking at them they seemed to continue to cause him nothing but pain and discomfort.

Unleashing a load roar Corrobis cried out in fury “damn you body! Why are you not healing?! What has happened to my power?!”, he was not as strong as he once was, something must of happened when Nina hit him with her power, causing him to get weak and neutralising his dark power, “that damned White! That damned White!” he said as he curled on the floor in pain, thinking about how wanted to get her back, thinking how he would make her feel the pain he was feeling ten folds, “White you will suffer for this mark my words!”.

Listening from behind the door the Arctic Fox who took care of him sighed as she thought about how much hard work he was going to be, however she also pitied him as she could hear his moans and groans, his cries of anger was not doing him any good either.

Placing her hand on her chest she braved up the courage to go back into the room and help him, at this point she wanted nothing more then to help him and change him, she knew she could do so, but there was the problem of his wounds, they was not healing and they looked like they were killing him, she may even have to talk to Nina about curing this as she could cure virus and curses, however there was one problem, Corrobis would try to kill her, so she need him to promise her to not kill her.

Walking upto him she placed her arms around him and wrapped them around him, like a mother would with their child, she even sung a soft gentle song to him, until he growled, but he wasn't growling at her, he was growling due to the alien feeling he was feeling.

“It is ok” said Whisper as she could tell he was fighting against the emotions, “little by little, don't reject it, embrace it”.

Slowly calming down Corrobis looked at her kind eyes and softly places his hand on her cheek, which nearly caused Whisper to back away with surprise, however she kept still as he placed the other hand on her other cheek.

He just stared into her eyes like he was entranced by her, like if he was trying to burn her image into his mind.

It was then the Arctic Fox realised that Corrobis was focusing on her for strength, strength to keep himself in control, strength to help him remain calm.

She then said softly “this must be the first time for you to seek strength from someone”.

Corrobis shook his head as he told her otherwise “no, there was another, Septinus, my old mate, she would help me like you are now and through her I saw strength, I saw calm, even change”.

Smiling with hope that maybe Corrobis could go and see his mate at some point Whisper said “maybe she could help you”.

But however her hopeful feeling soon changed when she saw the sadden expression on his face, that was the expression of loss, sorrow, the sort that tells one that something bad had happened to someone close, even if he did try to hide it and keep a strong look to him.

“If only you knew mortal” he said in a low tone, lowering his hands down as he sat up, feeling the sadden emotion for his loss.

Placing her arms around him again Whisper said as she felt sorry for him “I'm so sorry...”.

Feeling her warm body against him, the softness of her hair and the fresh scent of her fur that she looked after so well, Corrobis said as he knew it wasn't her fault “don't be, you didn't know, besides... I should of known, I could of prevented it, but I got careless”.

“No... I don't believe that” she said as she slowly looked at him with those caring eyes, ones that made Corrobis feel calm and warm inside.

“Those eyes, your eyes tell me something warm and tranquil”.

Whisper blushed and said as she lowered her head down, looking away from him, holding her tail with her hands, almost making it look if she was grooming it.

Corrobis smiled and then suddenly he laughed.

Wondering why he was laughing Whisper asked him “what was so funny?”, not that she mind him laughing as to see him smile was something different.

The fire gave the room a kind glow, like if the mood was being set, set for something warm, something gentle.

Corrobis looked back into her eyes, with his yellow eyes gazing deeper as Whisper looked back to him, it was like for that moment time was slowing down, like if everything in that room stood still and was quirt.

Moving closer to her the jackal asked her as he felt this emotion, this wanting emotion, one that seemed rather crazy but yet it was right “how would you feel about me?”

Almost chocking with her words Whisper wondered what he meant by that, so she asked “Corrobis... what are you saying?”

Leaning closer to her with his eyes fixed on her Corrobis answered “if I was to show my affection to you, how would you feel? Frightened? Nervous? Panic? Or would you be flattered? That emotion where your heart races? That part of you that desires and you would throw yourself at me, just like I am to you?”

It suddenly clicked what he was asking, infact it was more of telling her, telling her that he wanted her, that he desired her.

This coursed her heart to almost skip a beat and with a quick movement she backed off, not sure what to feel or think at this moment in time, which in turn caused Corrobis to back off too, retreating nearer to the fire, which gave him a shadow look “I guess I was too forward, nevermind then...”

Looking at him she felt bad in backing away from him, it was just it was so sudden and they hadn't long met, and to suddenly have that open out of the blue it was just all too much for her, so taking a deep breath she said as she calmed herself “I'm sorry... it was just it was so sudden, it caught me off guard”.

“It is fine” said the jackal as he went back to being himself, acting like he wasn't affected by it, but Whisper knew he liked her and knew that was a good thing too as it meant he just proved he had a heart, but at the sametime it was worrying as she wasn't sure how she felt towards him.

As she left the room silently, carefully closing the door behind her, she said at whisper, regretting her actions “please... please forgive me Corrobis...”

Back in the Forest:

The night time sky was settling in and Fireball JR was no where to be seen, the trees still kept their colour due to the natural light and the lanterns left up near the cottage by Seleena and Nina, who had made them, infact they were made from different colours of materials, each representing different elements and natures gifts.

Isabel was outside worrying about where Junior had gotten to, she was worried if something had happened to him, until she heard this thud, which gave her hope that it was Fireball JR, infact she was getting ready to give him a lecture until she sensed it was another dragon, it was Ice.

He looked like he had just recovered from a fight, which he had when he fought with Amanestia, but he wasn't there to talk about that, mainly just to see Isabel as he was worried that he and his boys may of hurt her, that was until he noticed her concerning face “hey babe! You look distressed?”

Isabel knew Ice was there on friendly terms, plus he wasn't with his gang so he was more calm by himself.

He walked up to her, treading along the grass as he went beside her, looking at the moon light, then back to Isabel as he saw the light reflect off her wings and skin, even her dress had this glowing blue effect.

But rather then talk about how she looked he decided to ask “are you worried about Junior?”

Smiling that he called Fireball Junior Isabel said to him to answer his question “yes, he hasn't returned back yet”.

“Don't worry about him, he is a tough kid, besides he has a girl dragon that is tough as nails with him” said the blue dragon as he remembers the sores he got from the dragoness, even thinking of that moment she had beat him and his gang up, “I won't deny me and my boys got our ass handed to us, she really gave us a beating”.

Isabel wondered who this girl dragon was and asked with worry “is she dangerous?”

“Nah babe, if anything she was protecting him from us”.

“So you were picking on him again?!” snapped the dragoness, with a growl in her tone, almost looking like she was looking at him, infact if she could see, she would be staring right at him.

“Admittingly we were, but however ever since that beating me and the boys got it got us thinking” said Ice as he began to show another attitude towards Fireball JR, as that beating from Amanestia most of got his head thinking, along with the rest of his group.

“Thinking?” asked Isabel as she began to calm down.

“Maybe we shouldn't judge him due to him being a tank, although Chrome sees different, he hates clones, but the rest of us think maybe we should give the guy a chance”.

This was a surprise to Isabel, she never thought she would hear that from Ice, but she smiled and said as she turned head towards the sky again “thank you Ice, you are not such a jerk”.

Ice could see she was worried about Junior still and said with assurance “hey relax, that girl dragoness is with him, she wouldn't let anything happen to him... besides if he ain't back with-in the next two hours me and the gang will drag him back”.

Worrying about Chrome Isabel begged to Ice, with her hands placed together and her head turned towards him, which made him stare into her eyes “please don't let him get hurt!”.

“Hey babe! I am in charge of my crew, if they harm him I will beat the crap out of them” said the bold dragon with a smirk on his face.

Sighing with relief as she place her hand on her chest where her Dragon Eye was, Isabel calmed herself and said to Ice as she was grateful for his kindness “thank you Ice”.

The two continued to wait for Fireball and it wasn't long before there was a thud, followed by another thud and a female voice that sounded like she was showing off “you got to practice harder if you want to beat me in a race!”.

Isabel wondered who that was, but Ice had this worried look on his face as he knew who that was, then there was another voice that spoke in a cocky way “so you know I'm stronger”.

“Want to prove that Dragon Boy?!” said the female voice as there was a sudden rush and another thud that sounded more heavier, the tall grass moved, some even flew as there was two large bodies in there, wresting with each other.

Isabel was about to approached forward, but Ice put his wing in the way, not wanting her getting hurt as he felt he should approach the two, even though he was afraid himself, infact he was looking a lot move blue on the face then he usually looked.

Suddenly these two dragons came rolling out, one a green male dragon and another a white and blue dragoness, how they rolled was like a large two coloured tone ball, it was quick too, they grazed the ground up, kicking up the dirt and what else laying around.

It was none other then Fireball JR and Amanestia play fighting each other, Amanestia was on top of Junior, pining him down, taunting him as she did so “call it quits and I may spare you the humiliation”.

Fireball smirked and said as he was confident in his strength “funny I was about to say the same to you!”, with the push of his back he flip Amanestia on her back and this time he was on top of her, with that cocky smile of his “wanna call it quits?”

“Dummy!” said Amanestia as she licks his nose and of course that made Fireball JR go weak on the knees, giving the dragoness a chance to flip him over with her hind legs and pining him again “pinned you again dummy!” gloated the dragoness as she smiled at him.

Ice then said as he felt Junior had been selfish on Isabel, flying off and then coming back late, then coming onto the scene, play fighting with another dragon, he could of at lest explained himself and apologised for worrying Isabel “hey Junior! Do you realise how Isabel has been worried sick about you?!”

Fireball JR who was upside-down , with the dragoness still on top of him, was surprised he didn't call him tank and asked him as he looked at him sharply, not sure how to take him calling him Junior “ok Ice what is with the being nice?”.

“Hey enough about us, what about your big sister?” firmly said Ice in an almost loud tone.

Amanestia looked at him, remembering that she was the one who fought with him and his group, she then said as she tilted her head in the most sarcastic manor possible “ooooh you are the one who got sore, tell me how are those wounds of yours and your gang of thugs?!”, she was still angry with him and didn't trust him, not when he and his group kept on picking on Junior.

“This is no concern of yours, so beat it!” said the bold blue dragon as he approached her, firming himself up to her.

Of course this gave Fireball JR an impression he was going to harm her and so he said as she got off him, letting him up “I'll warn you, if you touch her I'll deal with you”.

Looking at him firmly while thrusting his head towards him, not liking the fact Junior stood up and spoke to him like that “watch your tone man or I'll put you on ice”.

“Then I'll have to heat things up around here then” warned Fireball JR as he ready himself.

Isabel stood in the middle of them, not wanting either one of them to fight, she placed her hands against both of their chests and said in a calm way “please you two”, she then turned to Junior and said as she felt Ice was trying to be nice and that he was the one being rude this time, but however she didn't blame him for it as Ice and his group did bully him “please Junior, Ice isn't here to hurt or bully anyone, infact he was kind and told me that you were safe, he even assured he would get you and bring you back here safe”.

Amanestia knew this was something she shouldn't get involved in, if Ice was lecturing him she would of as she knew how much of a bully he was to Fireball JR, but Isabel however, even though she hardly knew her, she could tell she was thinking of his best interest.

So she sat down on the long grass, but keeping eye contact with Ice as she didn't trust him, the light of the moon was giving her a beautiful glow, even Ice had a glow to him due to his element of the Ice.

Fireball JR looked at Isabel as she continued to talk about why Ice was there, how kind he was with her and so on, till she got to the part where she told him how worried she was when Junior wasn't back on time.

So Amanestia said as she decided to explain for his lateness “I'm afraid that was my fault, you see we ain't long met and we thought we get to know each other”.

“In a pointless, childish play fight” spat Ice.

“Funny how you say that, what about you and your thugs? How about the childish things you call this innocent dragon? Like Tank? Clone? Well I got something to tell you big guy...”

Isabel tried to stop her saying anymore, but Amanestia said firmly as she felt Isabel should know this too “I haven't finished!”

Ice stood infront of Isabel to protect her and said to the white Dragoness as he was disgusted with her speaking so firmly like that “don't get all attitude with her!”

“Ah shut up before I put something in that big mouth of yours!” warned Amanestia as she was getting fed up with Ice's attitude.

A soft breeze blew threw with the silence, blowing the grass side to side,  so Amanestia took the advantage to continued to say what she wanted to say “Fireball JR thought he had Phoenix blood in him, I am not going to pretend to know anything about this cloning thing, but if I am right shouldn't he be like for like? Like the other Fireball?”

“Umm yeah... hence why he is called a clone? Duh!” spat Ice as he rolled his eyes up, doubting Amanestia's intelligence, but Isabel put her hand infront of Ice to stop him speaking more and asked with interest “so what are you implying?”

“Where is the Phoenix blood? All I sensed from his scent was a Dark Dragon blood and a Golden Dragon blood”.

As soon as Amanestia said this Isabel gasped as she felt it was impossible, Ice couldn't believe it and wanted to know himself, so he sniff Junior and then asked Isabel “hey babe! Tell me, what did the real Fireball have? Blood wise?”

Amanestia couldn't stand his cool guy attitude and was thinking in her mind if he didn't stop saying babe that she was going to bite his snout off, but however she kept her calm as she felt this may help Fireball JR.

“Dark Dragon and Phoenix” replied Isabel.

“Well babe! Looks like little miss attitude was right, there is something wrong with this Tank Breed”.

Grabbing his throat hard Fireball JR growled at him as he was getting annoyed with him treating him like he was some monster or object or something that wasn't alive “understand one thing Ice! This Tank Breed is alive! He breaths, he feels, he eats, he gets very emotional and do you want to see the emotional I am feeling now?!”

Ice gulped as he stared at th angry dragon, never had Fireball JR grabbed him that rough before, it was like he was possessed by something.

Amanestia stood up and said to Fireball JR “let him go Junior!”

But he wasn't going to let him go, he was increasing his grip, causing Ice to chock, so again Amanestia spoke, but using more emotional words “let him go, don't take away someone that Isabel loves!”

When he heard those words quickly Fireball JR released him and he suddenly looked at Ice, like he was scared, unsure what he did, infact he was going to run away, but Amanestia blocked his way and shook her head “don't Junior, it is alright”.

Isabel walked over to Fireball JR, placing her hands in his head and whispered some words, words that told him everything was alright, he was alright, no one was hurt, and like that he went down into the soft grass, where he laid, while Isabel stroked him.

Ice looked at Amanestia and felt he owed her his life “hey, you know? You're not so bad”.

Amanestia snorted and said to him as a warning “you are lucky, Gold Dragons are not the sort to anger”, she maybe young, but she knew a few things about dragons and other things, however what concerned her was Fireball JR's control over his dragon power, she knew it could pose a problem, however she knew she could help, she also saw Isabel as a strong key too, but what they needed was something else to help him.

When Isabel got Junior calm she turned to Amanestia and said with a bow “you have no idea how grateful I am”.

“In some way I do” said Amanestia as she understood how she felt, just her's was more different.

“I didn't get your name” said the dragoness as she stroked Fireball JR's head.

“Amanestia”.

“Thank you Amanestia”.

Back at the Beach:

Waves softly rippled, making a splashing noise as it hit the shore, Seleena was busy with Bision, who had finished talking their new friend's sister Ara to see his boss, at the moment he was told to wait until farther news while talks were going on, so he took the advantage of taking Seleena to that drink they both said they have.

Nina was with Kel who was doing a moon dance to the moon, which involved a lot of fluid movements, while kicking the sand up like a tribesmen would, Eddy on the other hand was asleep on soft sands, taking advantage of the peaceful moment to rest.

As Kel dance Nina couldn't help to wonder about Kel's people, she also wondered about his world and wondered also how her friend was doing too, but she didn't want to rudely interrupt his dance.

However he stopped as he looked at her “you have questions on your mind?”.

Of course he could read minds, how thoughtless of her to forget that, she giggled and said to him “sorry, I didn't want to be rude”.

“Not at all, if a great light, or white as you kind call you, has a question then they shall have it answered” spoke the respectful Moon Blade.

Nina wasn't sure it was wise he called her White or Light in the open, it was too dangerous as there were soldiers around “Kel please don't refer to me as White or Light” she said at a whisper.

Kel understood and bowed out of respect once more “I apologise Lady Nina, I forget this world sees things different”.

Sighing with a smile on her face, not wanting to be called Lady Nina either, but however she knew his kind respected and worship her kind, so it was normal for him to be like that.

Sitting next to her Kel then went back to the questions “so what is it you wish to know?”

“Well as you could probably read from my mind I have many, about your world, wondering if my friend Fireball is ok, those sort”.

Kel nodded as he was willing to answer, but first stated “even though I may read minds, but only to a limit, it is more feeling, if that makes sense”.

Nodding Nina said as she picked up the sand and played with it in her hands “I understand”.

“First I will relieve you by telling you Fireball is safe, but he is fighting a battle against Corro and his group, he is with Anubis, backing his army as Corro has gained a new army, as he couldn't call forth Corrobis army, but this new army is strong and strange, something neither of us has seen, but only heard through tales, tales of the Slave Masters or Devours of Worlds”.

“Great and I thought Corrobis was meant to be the destroyer” said Nina as she didn't like the idea of worlds being destroyed.

“I feel your anger, but do not fear as we will stop them”.

The White Wolf nodded as she knew Fireball and his group would find away, plus being with Anubis gives them a big advantage.

“As for my world, we Moon Blades live on Wildar, the main centre, where it is forever night, where the seven moons pass and every seven years they align, giving us their light, that is where we have our Moon Festivals, but every night we dance in the moons light, embracing it, worshipping those who are the Child of Light, Light Bearers or Whites in this world's  case”.

Nina made a star like shape from the sand she was playing with and then placed it down beside her, she then asked about his abilities “what about that light you shoot out of your staff and all the other tricks you used”.

“It is more science then tricks, we use technology, I can not tell you much on that due to the Prime Directive”.

Almost giggling as she remembered how Fireball was with the whole Prime Directive thing Nina then said “at lest you are careful then”.

“Very, however Corro is using our porthole technology to get to this world and back, but however Ara should have a block put up to stop him getting here again, but it won't stop him fully”.

“So that explains it” said the wolf as she realised how Corro and Mirage got to her world.

“However Corro is on this world, along with his army” stated Kal as he looked at the horizon, sharply at the pyrimed struchter he could see in the distance.

Nina looked too and knew he was hinting that Corro was there, in the old fortress of Corrobis “has he been here the whole time?”

“Most likely as we couldn't find him on our world, so I am guessing he is there” pointed Kal with his staff, determined to get the jackal.

More was about to be said until a foot landed down hard on Nina's star she had made out of sand, this shadow toward over the two, standing over them was this brown like dog, with a patch over his eye, there was another with him who was a red fox, both  of them were dressed rough, one held a knife in one hand, the other a large stick.

These were bandits or thieves and they were looking for riches to steal, which was a mistake on their part as they picked the wrong two to steal from.

“I wouldn't try it” warned Nina as she held Kel down with one hand because he would of acted if she hadn't done other wise.

“Or what? We just want your riches and we be out of here” said one as he waved his knife.

“Yeah, no offence miss” said the one with the patch on his eye, with smirk.

“So you won't change your mind?” asked Nina with another warning as she looked at them firmly, not wanting to fight with them.

“Why should we?” said the unphased bandit.

Lowering her hand off Kel the Mood Blade stood up with his staff in hand and said as he glared at them, unimpressed with them threatening a White “you low life dogs, you shall know what pain is really like”.

Without a second thought Kel struck at the two, not giving them a chance to react back, hitting them with his staff, kicking the other into the sands, the one with the eye patch he put his foot on and rubbed his face in the the sand, while taunting him with his words “you are not worth the ground we walk on, we tread people like you into the dirt, like the dirt you are”.

The other went to strike at him with a knife, but Kel grabbed it with his hand and broke the knife with such a force, he then whacked him into the sand too.

Kel then stopped as he looked at Nina who told him it was enough and two soldiers came rushing down, arresting the two bandits, one of soldiers who had saw Kel's fighting style said with an impressed tone “you know? Our boss would love to have you join our ranks, you fight well”.

Saying nothing but one thing which was his reason for fighting Kel responded “I was doing my duty”.

“If you want a job with us we are open to the greatest of fighters... think about it” said the soldier as he walked off.

When the soldiers went with the bandits Nina got up and said as she was impressed with his style of fighting “you remind me of a certain someone I know, except with a more strong warrior tone”.

“I can not deny my place as a warrior, it is what I am”.

“And I wouldn't deny it”.

The air started to get chilly and the winds began to pick up, which meant a storm was getting ready to start, so the two woke Eddy up to tell him to get off the beach, which he got up quickly and they headed to the main land where they waited for Seleena.

Seleena had finished her drink with Bision and before she parted the buffalo gave a kiss on the cheek, which the trio were a witness too.

When the dragoness approached them Eddy then said for a jest “well well, hello there, looks like abit of L.O.V.E is in the air”.

“You'll be in the air if you keep that up” warned Seleena as she staggered over, it was clear she had a little too much to drink, but they didn't smell alcohol on her, it was just coffee.

The trio caught her and Nina asked as she was some what worried about Seleena, while trying to not to laugh at some of the body movements Seleena was doing, it was like she was dancing “what happened to you?”

“Too much coffee, Nina my dear, too much coffee, never give it to a dragon like me” Seleena almost fell over, just missing the lamp post, but hitting the near-by bush, followed by a sound of a bleach “oh gosh, I'm gonna kill that buffalo, I warned him about me a coffee”.

“You get drunk on Coffee?” asked Eddy as he tried not to laugh at the thought.

Seleena then stood up, still staggering, then pointed to Eddy and said to his jest “yeah, yeah, laugh it up furball”.

Kel wasn't sure what to say at this point, infact he wasn't sure whether to pity her or say what he really felt “well now, this could be entertaining”.

Seleena flopped herself on Kel and said to his remark “you want to know what is entertaining big boy?” and without thinking she kissed him, which caused Kel to react in such a way that he pushed her a side, in the end he told her firmly of what he felt “you are drunk, you are disgracing yourself”.

Nina stopped him and said to calm things down, while keeping Seleena up right “we need to get her home and into a good cold shower”.

“Make it an ice bath kiddo” said Seleena as she almost fell, grabbing a near-by solider by mistake “oh my, pardon me sir”.

Lucky the soldier understood she was drunk and smiled as he gave her back to Nina and her group, Kel said to him “at lest you didn't have her kiss you”.

Making a shrug like he didn't mind, the soldier then said “hey I always wanted to date a dragoness, but I think my mate would kill me if she found out and she is a lioness”.

He was a Hyena and when Kel thought of him being mated with a lioness he thought of the rules of nature on Earth “well at lest you have a strong mate”.

The soldier laughed and the group walked off with Seleena, before she caused more trouble, although she started signing and there was nothing worst then hearing a drunk signing person who sounded out of tune.

“Kel what do you do with drunk people?” asked Nina, who didn't mean the question to be answered, but Kel told her “depending, warriors let it out of their system through fighting, but non warriors or those who can't fight we escort back home to a cold bath”.

“You want to fight with me big guy?” Seleena said in a very slurred way, willing to take him on in a fight, but looking like she couldn't hold her weight and just fell.

“Seleena you are terrible, what would Hargo say?” stated Nina.

“Oh my beloved Hargo, forgive this foolish dragoness for her sins” she said as she fell on Eddy, causing him to fall to the ground with her, lucky it was on the grass, but the position they were in was rather embarrassing “oh my”.

Eddy shook his head and said in an almost awkward tone “oh my indeed”.

Back at Whisper's home:

A warm fire was still lit, giving the room where Whisper was a cosy feeling, it also give the Arctic Fox a chance to reflect on the events and what she decided.

Sitting on a soft chair she stared at the fire, looking into it like if she was looking for answers, she wasn't questioning whether she was doing right or wrong, she knew what she was doing, but wanted to know if Corrobis would become destructive again.

She had been looking into his background more, thanks to the papers and pictures that people had taken, even when the soldiers at that time went to battle with Corrobis people and they had came back victorious, when she first heard then about him she had heard that he was evil, someone to not be trusted, but yet she felt something in her, she felt she could save him.

Looking back on her past she knew she would be repeating the scenes of the past, one where she did the exact samething for someone else, she was determined to not allow the horrible out come of those scenes to happen again, she was willing to try and change those to something good, but only Corrobis could truly change his ways.

Corrobis was in the bedroom, with the covers around him, in a meditation state, trying to regain his power, despite his wounds hurting him from time to time, allowing a dark aura to surround him, one that gave him a demonic look.

That was until he felt a serious sharp pain in his chest, like if someone had stuck something through him, it caused him to unleash a howl that was enough to wake up the whole neighbourhood., forcing him to place his hand on his chest

Rushing into the room Whisper went to his side and placed her hand on his chest, telling him to calm down and breath, while moving the covers off him, just so the air could get to him.

“Damn that White! Damn her! Damn her to hell!” he cried out in anger as he lent forward, trying to go on fours, but Whisper kept him upright, placing a warm wax she had in the room on her side, it was warmed up thanks to the fire it was placed near, this wax was a wax that helped take away the pain of wounds, kind of like an anaesthetic.

“I'll talk to her tomorrow and get her to come round”.

Grabbing her without meaning to in a rough fashion Corrobis demanded her with such fear and anger, anger because he wanted vengeance on Nina, fearful because he knew he couldn't fight the soldiers “are you insane?! The soldiers want my hide and you know what I will do to her!”

Feeling his hands tightening on her arms Whisper said as she pulled away “you are hurting me!”

When she said that Corrobs released her, looking at her, realising what he did, feeling such fear, regret, sadness and anger in him, fear of hurting her, regret for his actions, sad because he know of that uncontrollable power he had and anger towards himself.

Looking at his hands and then closing them as he lowered his head, closing his eyes.

Whisper knew what he was feeling, she had seen this behaviour before, so she used her experience, but also her heart was reach out to him and so she slowly got closer to him, wrapping her arms around him and leaning her head against him “it's ok, you didn't mean it”.

In the end Corrobis said to her as he felt how dangerous he was “you got to turn me in, my dark side will not permit me to be good”.

“Dark or light, both are two sides of the same coin, they can not live without each other, your dark side is important to you, other wise you die without it, just accept it but allow it to accept you, you are the master of your power and intentions, not your power”.

His ears perk up as she said this and slowly as he pulled the covers around him once more as she let him go slowly he asked “can you... get the White to come here?”  

Nodding the Arctic Fox said “yes but you mustn't hurt her”.

“I won't”

“Promise me you won't”

She held out her little finger, wanting him to make a pinkie promise, to which he looked at her and ask “you serious?”

Staring into her eyes he knew how serious she was and there for sighed as he linked his finger around her's “I swear it”.

That was better then a promise, now that he swore to his word he was bound by that and this made Whisper smile and it was that smile that made Corrobis smile back at her “so you must be the light out of the ying-yang”.

Giggling to his comparison she responded as she walked over to the window, putting out a near-by candle “that was very poetic of you”, she was about to open the windows but Corrobis stopped her “please, I like it dark, it helps me to focus”.

Respecting his wishes Whisper left the windows alone and asked him “are you warm enough?”, she noticed him keeping the covers around him a lot and was wondering if he was cold, but he shook his head and said “it is just comfort...”, he paused and laughed at the thought, as it was like that of a child “how ironic for a god to be like this”.

“Living forever and having power is nice, but no where as adventurous as being a mortal, where we have to rely on our own self, where we only live to a certain age”.

Corrobis didn't want a world without Whisper, he wanted to keep her in his world forever, but knew she was a mortal and the price of immortality was you outlived everyone else, something he never considered as a thing to worry about, until he met Whisper, it was then when he looked up at her, standing up, he said to her as he placed his hand on her arm “I don't want a world without you, I want to be in your world”.

“Corrobis...” at this point Whisper was not sure what to say, but Corrobis continued on with his words, the room was a perfect setting for what he was saying, warm, with a tint of dark, a light giving a glowing atmosphere, it gave that calming look to the room and the two “I want to give up my status as a God, I want to be part of your world”.

She gasped at first as it was a big step for Corrobis to be wanting to do that, but however smiled at his words and said as she placed her hand on his cheek, softly stroking it “oh Corrobis... I finally gotten to your heart”.

The two looked like if they were about to kiss each other but a laugh was heard that startled them, which sounded familiar to Corrobis, it was coming from outside.

Heading towards the window Corrobis looked and could see a black dragoness, a white wolf, a cat and a lizard like creature walking the street, it was none other then Seleena, who was drunk still and the one laughing, Nina who was keeping her in line, Eddy who was taking pictures of Seleena messing around and posing, while saying “I'll be showing you these tomorrow”, and Kal who was not impressed with the behaviour “such foolishness, why? You should be ashamed, doing this infront of a respected one”.

Corrobis quickly hid as he knew who Kal was all too well and had the cartain pulled, hoping no one saw him.

Whisper saw the group outside and said “oh there is Nina and it looks like she has made some friends”.

Before she went out to the door Corrobis grabbed her firmly “wait!”, he pulled her over and said as he pointed to the Moon Blade “you see him?”, Whisper looked for a bit and then saw who Corrobis was pointing to and nodding “that is a Moon Blade, Kal, he is a worrier and would cut me in two if knew I was here, usually I be not so worried, but in my weaken state I am no match for him”.

Whisper didn't need to ask why Kal would kill him as she could easy guess, plus with her past experience she knew better then to allow someone who could harm the person she was protecting into her home, but however she smile at Corrobis and pats his arm as she went out of the room, it was that look to say “trust me”, so he did so, while watching.

Outside the group was busy keeping Seleena under control, although Eddy wasn't helping with him taking pictures, till in the end Kal grabbed the camera off him and said “Enough! The flashes are hurting my eyes!”

Eddy gulped and said as he shrugged, while feeling nervous at the sametime “hey I was just having fun jeez”.

However Seleena who was on the grass walked over to Kal with a threatening manor and asked “are you messing with my boy here? I kick your ass if you are”, at this point she had kicked up the grass, making a mess with her staggering around.

So Kal responded as he confronted her “and you call yourself a dragoness? You are a shame to your kind and prey your kids, if any, don't see you like this, even they be ashamed”.

Nina then slapped Kal across the face for that, which took him by surprise as he never expected that, but however Nina didn't like what he said and warned him, while looking sharp at him “don't you dare say that, ever! She has been through a lot, so what if she is drunk now, let her have her fun, besides it don't take a warrior to see what she has been through and done!”

This even surprised Seleena, even if she was drunk, she was surprised how angry Nina got.

Going on one knee on the ground the Moon Blade said with in a shameful tone “forgive me, I meant no disrespect”, at this point the moon was shining on him, giving him a glow.

Seeing him on his knee like that was something Nina didn't want, so thinking she was too harsh on him she said as she sighed, placing her hands on her hips, looking up at the night sky and then back down to him “please don't kneel... look... just don't judge her, she has much wisdom in her and is the strong force, infact on that helped us when we fought Corrobis”.

Getting up slowly Kal nodded and walked over to Seleena, offering his shoulder to her, he even wiped the grass off her and said to her “come now you silly dragoness”.

Before they went a voice called over to Nina, which cause the group to stop, it was dark and usually it would be hard to tell who it was, but however some in the group could see in the dark, especially Nina whose eyes glew due to the reflection of the moon hitting them.

It was Whisper, she was out of her home and was walking towards the group, while looking around her aswell, this caused Kal to get suspicious.

When she came up to the group she stopped and said with a bow “hello all, sorry to stop you so suddenly, but I needed to speak with Nina”.

Kal noticed she didn't seem afraid of  him, an alien that she had never encountered and wondered about this “you don't seem afraid”.

Nina giggled and said as she remembered how Whisper was while greeting her at the sametime “she is never afraid of those who are different, infact she is more welcoming”.

“Including to those with dark intentions?”

When he asked that the group paused, but Whisper lowered her head down as she knew it was going to be difficult to talk with Kal around.

Winds softly below across the group, blowing some of the leaves and plant life around them, not many people were wondering the street at this time of the night, but some where about and those who saw the group looked at Kal in a strange way as they had never seen his kind before, infact a couple whispered that maybe he was some sort of demon.

Kal responded in a calm, but almost insulted tone “primitives”, the couple giggled and laughed at his words, thinking he was crazy too, however Kal ignored them and waited for them to go before getting back to questioning Whisper.

When they left he then looked at her again, this time sharply “I'll ask again, including to those with dark intentions?”

“Kal you are being rude!” warned Nina as she didn't like him questioning her friend like that, but however the look in Kal's eyes as he looked at Whisper's home told Nina he knew something else, which caused her to ask “what is it you suspect?”

“Tell me this how comes that I can sense the mind of a dark creature, one that is known to be the Destroyer of Worlds?” he asked directly and it was aimed right at Whisper, causing her to almost shy away, placing her hands firmly on her chest.

“Well?!”

Seleena then said as she recognised Whisper, she may of been drunk still, but she still had her memory of who she knew “you? I remember your face... are you the Arctic Fox who attended to my wounds?”

Looking at her Whisper nodded, but was rather nervous to answer, so Seleena said to calm her down “it is ok I am not like Mr firm here, I'm just abit under the coffee”.

Whisper almost giggled and said to her as she remembered her “I recall something like that when you drunk some of my coffee, I didn't think anything of it until you started to act strange”.

“At lest it took away the pain”.

As it turned out while Seleena was on the run from Corrobis and Corro she ran into Whisper who had helped bandage her wounds up, but Seleena left in secret to protect her from Corro and his men that was chasing her, however this did left Whisper wondering if she was safe or alright.

Smiling to know she was ok Whisper came more into the light and checked Seleena over, making sure her wounds were better, when she saw her wounds were just scars she said as she was glad they had heal, just sorry they were scars “at lest they are better, although you will have a lot of stories to tell”.

“Sadly, but I'll get the ones who did that to me, I would say that Corrobis, but he died when Nina fought him”.

“He isn't dead, if you were not so drunk you would sense he is in her home!” said Kal as he looked right at Whisper again, with a very serious look, sensing a dark aura.

Whisper backed off with fear, knowing Kal would attack Corrobis, she knew she couldn't keep him a secret any more now that Kal could tell he was near, so she said as she beg to Kal's good nature “please, please you mustn't hurt him”.

“So it is true, you tried to lie to us?!”

“No...”

“Lier!”

A dark aura could be felt by Nina as Kal walked up to Whisper, it was not coming from him though, another force, one she recognised, but could not believe it, her vision almost went blurred due to the powerful nature of the aura, she placed her hands over her eyes a few times as she could see these images of a dark creature, one that was getting angry, but not at the group it was at Kal, like if it was trying to protect someone.

When Kal walked up close to Whisper the aura got stronger, in the end Nina knew it was trying to protect Whisper and quickly she put herself in the middle of Kal and Whisper “stop it! You are provoking him!”

“Who?” asked Kal

But his question was soon answered when a voice warned him “leave her alone or face my wrath you pathetic mortal!”.
